Most of you probably know that authors often have no say about the cover, so it can be frustrating sometimes that it's the first thing to attract many readers! Getting a cover one likes is really a thrill.Trish Perryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983379845476025642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882268403920558613.post-29502106377950830792018-04-11T22:08:37.823-04:002018-04-11T22:08:37.823-04:00I would have to say that I am drawn into a book by...I would have to say that I am drawn into a book by believable characters. I will not care about a character if they are drawn flat or just fill a stereotype. Again this is just the start, but that definitely gets me in deeper. As far as stories in general, I love a good mystery. I can't say what I would write a story about if I could write a story, but I do believe if I could I'd write cozy fiction. For now I'll just have to be happy writing copy for my radio station. :)

kellyblackwellwrites(at)gmail(dot)comKelly Blackwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14114157685843686254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882268403920558613.post-43481017660089762682018-04-10T15:12:20.965-04:002018-04-10T15:12:20.965-04:00Just read the interview and in answer to your ques...Just read the interview and in answer to your question about what captures me in a book. If the book touches my heart or emotions, well written to the point I can't quit turning pages, then I will be buying more books from that author. Also, a book that does that also gets an automatic 5 star review rating from me. I love most Christian fiction genre's except for Regency and historical around King Henry VIII. The setting doesn't truly matter if the book is heartwarming, and either I laugh or cry then I want more from that author.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09455087236669062842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882268403920558613.post-24325985128923100552018-04-10T00:37:08.271-04:002018-04-10T00:37:08.271-04:00The cover and the book blurb on the back draws me...The cover and the book blurb on the back draws me to a book.

mauback55 at gmail dot com Melanie Backushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09727406782355039525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882268403920558613.post-89868115118806409972018-04-09T23:29:22.134-04:002018-04-09T23:29:22.134-04:00I just realized that I've not had the pleasure...I just realized that I've not had the pleasure of reading any of your books. I'm drawn to books first by the cover & the title, then I take a look at the "teaser" on the back. By that time I'm usually hooked & can hardly wait to dive in & read the book! The Amish Reunion appears to be one of them.

Jean M. jdmfirefly@gmail.com 15115 Tuscola Rd. The books that I have read lately are very different. I have trouble expressing myself so writing a book would be difficult to write and for anyone to read. fishingjanATaolDOTcomJan Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17706522878268677412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882268403920558613.post-60482020652290076782018-04-09T15:22:34.440-04:002018-04-09T15:22:34.440-04:00Always looking for new Author to me to read. cheet...Always looking for new Author to me to read. cheetahthecat1986@gmail.comkim hansenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12951846304316134717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882268403920558613.post-77790662092076438272018-04-09T15:11:38.821-04:002018-04-09T15:11:38.821-04:00I just finished an Amish novel that had some touch...I just finished an Amish novel that had some touching moments and a couple of mysteries that kept me reading. I have to really care about and enjoy the characters too and be concerned with what happens to them.
tumcsec(at)gmail(dot)comGail H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07185778152672877614noreply@blogger.com
