In Virtuality, I tried to tell Vince and Jess's backstory through bits of internal monologue each time something triggered an important memory and I used a couple of flashbacks. Other than those, the story moves at a rapid pace. I do like time to get to know characters in the stories I read. It makes their stories more real to me. Introspection helps that. Some description helps, too, but I'm not a fan of long, drawn out descriptions. I tend to skip over them. I also like action. I read and watch nothing-but-action stories and enjoy them, but I prefer a mix of slow and fast.Sylvia A. Nashhttp://sylviaanash.comnoreply@blogger.com
