Happy New Year! To celebrate, I'm going to give away another copy of The Perfect Blend to one of my readers next Monday. But first, I want to announce that the winner of the drawing for the signed copy of The Camera Never Lies, by Elizabeth Goddard, is:
mitzi_wanham@ . . .
Congratulations! I'll contact you today for your snail mail address, and we'll get your book to you right away. I encourage readers to keep commenting and/or subscribe at right in order to participate in future book give-aways!
Okay, so the give-away. Here's the cover of this month's issue of Christian Fiction Online Magazine, a wonderful resource for all things related to Christian fiction reading and writing.

This month I'm honored to be the cover girl! So I ask that you take the time to read the interview between Kim Ford and myself and come back here to leave a relevant comment that shows you read the article. Please check the comments other readers left before yours to be sure you don't leave a duplicate comment. In the case of a duplicate comment, the second one won't be entered in the drawing. Be sure to leave your email address, in case you win, like so: trish[at]trishperry[dot]com.
And if you win the drawing and already have a copy of The Perfect Blend, I'll be happy to send you a copy of any one of my other books (as long as it's been released).
I'll draw a winner from the comments section next Monday, January 10.
Check out my interview with Martha Rogers below, and leave a comment under her interview to be entered in a drawing for a signed copy of her book.
Annoying legal disclaimer: drawings void where prohibited; open only to U.S. residents; the odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. See full disclaimer HERE.

Congratulations! I hope you get featured on even more magazines. :) gahome2mom/at/gmail/dot/com
I enjoyed reading about what your children are doing. Maybe your son will make one of your books into a movie?

Thanks Trish...
Unforgettable sounds really good! I like stories about woman trying to achieve independence.

You look great on the cover of the magazine! I found your response to edgy Christian writing and traditional Christian romance writing very interesting. I appreciate the line that is drawn
between Christian romance and
Edgy romance. Christian is my
choice for reading...
Many thanks, Cindi

Kim Ford presented a great interview. Love the idea of Tea with Millicent being one of your series. guess i'll keep my comment to one issue, so others have a chance to bring up other issues, but could write a lot more. Thanks. Trish
I love your education and career history...how neat to see how it has played out over the years!
"I’ve always been drawn to artistic expression, whether fine art, music, dance, or writing, and when I was younger I was equally active in all those areas. So I can’t say I was any more faithful to develop my writing skills than I was my singing, dancing, or painting skills." This statement from your proved to me what a well-rounded person you are and the cover was amazing. Also, Triplets-WOW! when do you have time for anything else. Amazing!
Congratulations!
Rebecca

I'm glad that your son is showing a talent for writing and is studying film. My son (22) is now working on a movie. I pray that they both use their skills for God's glory!

"If I read a romance, I’ll normally follow it with something from a different genre. I like to mix it up."- Trish Perry
Sometimes I do that, but it's usually still fiction. I'm not much of a non-fiction reader except for the Bible. Usually I read a few romances and then switch to cozy mysteries. Other times I find myself switching between contemporary and historical CBA romances. Some people I know like to read a book in one series and then switch to another series and back again. Usually if I read a series (or re-read) I try to read the whole thing in order with no other books between.

I loved the interview with Kim Ford. It was a treat getting to know more about you and the new treasures we have in store to read from you this year. Can't wait! It's such a blessing to have available good Christian stories to read and also challenge us in our own walks with the Lord. Thanks, Trish, for sharing your talents with us!
Enjoyed your interview for the magazine. I will look forward to your book coming out this year with Kristen, Diann, etc. I love those ladies' blog and books (as much as yours)! Thanks for the chance to win your book in this offer.

Congratulations Trish - what an honor to be on cover of Online Christian. Love the title "Perfect Blend". A prayer partner of mine in Alaska and I send tea bags to each other so we can have tea together and feel connected across the miles.
I believe in happy endings. We are all looking for happy endings. But I love it when there are struggles, disappointments, etc. to overcome and book is real in problems within love relationship trying to decide if you are in love or not. Men grumble about women reading romance but then they have never read one. My husband read one of my Janette Oakes books once and since then he just trusts my judgement. It has not changed our marriage of going on 32 years.
I need to get your Bad Hair day book for my neice. She skipped school once because of a bad hair day. She's 36 now with 3 kids and I believe she would miss work for bad hair day.

My teenage daughters and I love your books. We trade the books back and forth. I am glad there are romances out there that I don't have to worry about edgy subjects. Thank you!

I'm getting such a kick out of your comments. Thanks for reading the article. Squiresj, you made me laugh out loud about your daughter's bad hair days.
Wendy, I'd love for my son to turn one of my books into film, but he's thinking Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Braveheart, etc. I don't quite measure up there, I'm afraid!
Rebecca, there really doesn't seem to be much time for anything else, but I think my situation is the same as most womens', regardless of what daily challenges they face!
Thanks, all of you, for your comments. Looking forward to the drawing on Monday!
Trish, I like that you said God uses your writing to remind you to lean on him, that he has everything in control. I'm glad that comes through in your writing also. I've read The Perfect Blend and enjoyed it very much. If I win the drawing, I'd love to have Tea for Two, so I can continue the story. Thanks for writing such fun books to read, that also have some spiritual depth to them.

I really enjoyed reading the article. I like it that your kids enjoy reading, I don't think I'd force my son to read a romance either, even if it was mine! I would love to win this book! I haven't had the chance to read it yet.
