Who me? Blogging? Batten Down Your Hard Drives!

All right, maybe that's a bit extreme--I don't think I can harm anybody's hard drive through my cyber ignorance. But blogging is uncharted territory for me. I know, that's an embarrassing admission and very grandma-ish. My fictional characters are far more savvy than I am about 21st Century practices.

Yet I want to jump in here and interact. So here's the plan. I'm going to post weekly for now, and we'll see how that goes. As my blog title suggests, topics will be about books, writing, and the life that happens in between. I'll feature author interviews as well, usually accompanied by signed-book giveaways.

I welcome suggestions for improvement, new topics, particular authors, whatever. I'd love comments if you have them. But be nice or I'll find a way to haunt your hard drive--that might actually happen by accident . . .

Glad to see all of you who have commented. Blessings on your chances with the drawing--and I'll have plenty more after this one.

Stacey, I can't say I've read many pirate novels, but I'm quite a fan of Johnny Depp and his dreads.

Blog away! I'm not the daily type, either. I laugh in the face of conventional blog wisdom, haha!

Happy Blogging! I just started blogging myself back in January or February of this year. I am still getting the hang of it but it really does serve a purpose (or many purposes!). I try to add a new post once a week now, but at times even that is challenging lol.

And, the never-ending "Please enter me in your contest to win Beach Dreams."

Blessings,
Lucie

Happy blogging Trish. I started in March and was very hesitant at first because I haven't done ANY writing. I have enjoyed your posts and how you link them to writing. I'm sure you'll have a lot to share and the more you get comfy on here the more fun you have.

I'm not too worried about my hard drive but then I already had to replace it a few years ago as it killed itself with no help at all.

As for blogging - I love it but it is alot of work and I try to do 3-5posts a week M-F but at least blogger lets me preschedule so I don't have to actually get on all the time to post.

Oh and add another entry for me too - Please????
